Our Story

El Higuerón is a family, it always has been, and we’ve grown together for 30 years. Our kitchen, which started out small, has grown with us too. Little by little, we’ve transformed our dishes into a truly unique gastronomic offering based on the lives and adventures of our family. We’ve transformed our life experiences into taste experiences, aiming to transmit everything we’ve felt through food.

For many years, we had the pleasure of working with the incredible chef Fernando Martín, who can be credited with turning our menu into something truly special. Our menu aims to bring the most characteristic produce of our country to Fuengirola, with particular weakness for Asturias, a large majority of our raw material coming from the fertile Asturian land.

Our new bar offers a wide variety of breakfasts and unique cocktail recipes in the evening. An incredible space with a unique bar surrounded by a selection of high and low tables, where you can toast with your family and friends for everything that needs to be celebrated.



Restaurante

Lunch and dinner are served in a spectacular dining room, where the decoration is designed down to the last detail to offer you the full experience and authentic tradition of quality gastronomy.





Summer Terrace

The views surrounding El Higuerón need to be seen to be believed, which is why in the summer months we have a fantastic outdoor area to enjoy while savouring our extraordinary dishes. It sits on one of the restaurant’s wings and is the perfect place to relax on chill-out chairs while sipping a cocktail overlooking the sea.
